Bobcats are 4-0 after being Patriots in TCC battle

OTTAWA LAKE – The Bobcats will take a 4-0 record into Christmas after winning on the road for the third time this season.

Whiteford topped BD 66-46.

“It was a bit of an odd night for us,” Whiteford coach Jordan Bollin said. “We didn’t rebound great. We had 17 turnovers and I felt like BD played with more effort than we did, which I give them a ton of credit for.”

Theo Joerin and Jess Saylor both played well in the fourth quarter to help the Bobcats pull away.

Cole Griffith finished with 15 points, Caden Schroyer 12 and Luke Henegar 11 for the Bobcats.

Next up for Whiteford is battling Blissfield in The Advance New Year’s Basketball Bash on Friday, Jan. 2.
