OTTAWA LAKE – Make it three in a row for the Bobcats.
Whiteford beat Erie Mason Thursday, 35-29.
Ava Butz had a big fourth quarter with five points to help the Bobcats hold off the Eagles. Butz was forced into action when two Bobcat starters fouled out.
“That was a performance I’ll never forget,” Whiteford coach Nick Kopp said.
Glory Speweik had 8 points and Ava Wood 7 for Whiteford.
“We pulled out a gritty win,” Kopp said. “Today was a statement win for us.”
