OTTAWA LAKE – Whiteford’s girls basketball team saw its three-game win streak come to an end Wednesday with a 40-30 non-league loss to Maumee Valley Country Day.

Whiteford coach Nick Kopp said the Bobcats may have underestimated MVCD.

“They outhustled us on too many loose balls and was the more aggressive team,” Kopp said. “Nevertheless, we will learn from it and bounce back.”
