SAND CREEK – Whiteford beat Sand Creek 73-42 Thursday to improve to 11-3 on the season.

The Bobcats are a game back of league-leader Lenawee Christian, who they play Monday. The Bobcats also play Saturday afternoon at Madison.

Against the Aggies Thursday, Whiteford led 33-13 at halftime.

“We played very hard,” Bobcat coach Jordan Bollin said. “We pressed from the tip and took an early lead and never looked back. I thought it was a great complete team effort.”

Cole Griffith led the Bobcats with 14 points. Nate Andrews added 10 points, Brek Ruddy 9 and Luke Henegar 8. Cole Schober, Brody Hillard and Jess Saylor each scored 6 points off the bench.
