MILAN – Avy Wood scored a career high 20 points Saturday as the Bobcats beat Milan 48-42.
Wood has reached double digits in each of her last four games, averaging 15.0 points a game during that stretch.
“The kid does everything I ask and then some,” Whiteford coach Nick Kopp said. “She’s a heck of a kid and I can’t wait to see how she continues to grow into her senior year.”
Macy Ovall matched her career high with 13 points for the 4-12 Bobcats.
