Some Whiteford Bobcat football notes:
• By scoring 53 points against Sand Creek, the Bobcats went over the 50-point mark for the fifth consecutive game for the first time in team history.
• Bradyn Clark-Gilmore’s 91-yard touchdown reception was the second-longest in Whiteford history. Thomas Eitniear threw a 97-yard scoring strike to Jesse Kiefer in the 2015 playoffs (vs. Climax-Scotts).
• Whiteford converted two fourth-down conversions against Sand Creek to remain perfect on fourth-down conversions on the season.
• Whiteford can clinch a share of the Tri-County Conference title next week in its game against Clinton. Whiteford hasn’t won back-to-back conference championships since winning the River Raisin Conference in 1964 and 1965.
• Whiteford 2017 Offensive Drive Summary: 66 Offensive drives, 54 Touchdowns (81.8%), 8 Turnovers, 3 Kneel (end of half/game), 1 Punt
• The Bobcat JV team will play its final game of the season Thursday when it hosts Clinton. The Bobcats are 6-1 while Clinton enters the game 7-0.
