ADRIAN – Whiteford’s girls and boys placed seventh today in the TCC final meet.
The girl’s top runner was Molly Bartlett whose time of 26:50 placed her 34th overall. Josephine Emerson had the race of the day for the Bobcats. Josie ran 17:09 and placed two spots behind her. We like to say Josie laid the hammer today. Mia Miller was Whiteford’s other runner, finishing 39th in 27:46. I was very pleased with the girl’s effort today. Times are dropping, were seeing some improvement.
The boy’s team had Corbin Willis lead the way in 19:19. Corbin’s 19th-place finish earned him Honorable Mention All TCC. Congratulations Corbin! Nathan Walker had another solid run placing 33rd in 20:39. Camden Wilis was 36th in 21:00, McCarty Simmons 41st (21:26), and Daniel Gapp 47th in 21:42 were our point scorers today. Also running well for the boys were Trenton Kolmar 21:55, Logan Lance-Bunge 22:53, Isaac Gapp 23:49, and Christian Rodgers 24:37.
