There is plenty on the line Friday night when the undefeated Whiteford Bobcats hit the home field for the final regular season game of the 2017 season.

The Bobcats are 8-0 and can claim the outright TCC championships for the second season in a row. They can also become the first team in the Monroe County Region since Milan in 2012 & 2013 and Airport and Erie Mason in 2002 & 2003 to go 9-0 in two straight seasons.

The Bobcats host Britton Deerfield, coached by former Summerfield coach Erik Johnson. The Patriots are 1-7 on the season, entering the contest.

Whiteford, which is already bound for the playoffs, can most likely secure a home-field game in at least the first round of the playoffs with a victory – and possibly more.
