Whiteford is inching closer to clinching at least a share of the Tri-County Conference championship.
The Bobcats maintained its two-game lead in the TCC Friday with an 82-61 win at Whitmore Lake. Sand Creek remains in second-place in the TCC with a 7-2 record.
Whiteford led the Trojans by just three after the first quarter, but scored 49 points in the second half.
Cameron Iott led all scorers with 29 points while Jared Fink added 21 and Hunter Lake 10.
The Bobcats are 11-2 overall and winners of eight straight.
