MILAN – The Whiteford Bobcats used a five-run fourth inning to get past Milan Monday afternoon in the season opening baseball game for the varsity Bobcats.
Thomas Eitniear had two hits and drove in two runs and Nolan Adams also had two RBI for the Bobcats. The top three Bobcats in the batting lineup – Ty Eitniear, Thomas Eitniear and Adams each scored twice and each had a stolen base.
Andrew Toda picked up the victory, going four innings and striking out three while allowing just two hits. Adams pitched two innings and DiTerlizzi the final inning.
The Bobcats are at Britton Deerfield Wednesday for a TCC double header and play at Hudson Friday.
