SAND CREEK – Brayden Clark-Gilmore took three firsts and Logan Murphy two to lead Whiteford in a Tri-County Conference track meet Tuesday.
The Bobcats lost to Sand Creek, 104-29.
Gilmore won the 200 (25.46) and 400 (1:00.72) and was on the winning 4×200 relay for Whiteford, as was Murphy, Zach Bertz and Devon Shaw. Murphy also won the 100 (11.67).
DeShawn Williams was second in the shot put (40-4.25), Nathan Walker was second in the high jump (5-0) and third in the high hurdles (20.81) while Scott Scwartz was third in the 400 (1:04.14). Shaw also snagged a third, placing in the 200 (27.68).
Molly Bartlett and Paige Thomas each had a pair of first place finishes in Whiteford’s 112-24 loss in the girls meet.
Thomas was first in the 100 (13.49) and 200 (29.07) while Bartlett won the 1600 (7:04.01) and 400 (1:10.56).
Sarah Oberle was second in the 800 (3:13.81). Taking thirds for Whiteford were Macy Long in the shot put (23-10.5), Breanna Frederick in the high jump (4-1), Oberle in the 1600 (7:29.15) and Ellie DuVall in the long jump (13-1.25).
The Bobcats compete at the Addison Relays on Friday.
