Nathan Bauman and Andrew Toda both singled and came around to score on passed balls in the fifth inning Friday to give the Whiteford baseball team a 2-1, come-from-behind win over the Dundee Vikings in the first game of a doubleheader. The Vikings took the second game, 10-6.
Bauman went seven innings, striking out three and allowing just four hits and no earned runs in the first game to pick up his third pitching win of the season.
Ty Eitniear had two hits, with Thomas Eitniear, Bauman and Toda getting the other singles.
Dundee scored its run in the fourth inning.
In the nightcap of the non-league game, Dundee plated seven runs in the third inning.
For Whiteford, Thomas Eitniear had two hits and drew two walks while Nolan Adams had a pair of hits.
Ty Eitniear and Austin Wynn shared pitching duties for the 17-4 Bobcats.
