Whiteford finished the 2018 regular softball season Thursday with a 6-0 loss to Tecumseh. The game was called in the middle of the fourth inning due to rain.

Lindsey Walker had two hits, including a double, while Madison Durden had a single and drew a walk. Katie Lipp added a hit.

The 19-12-1 Bobcats open the District tournament Saturday at Morenci with a game against Summerfield. Morenci plays BD in the other District semifinal.
