Bobcat volleyball team tops Dundee

OTTAWA LAKE — Whiteford’s varsity volleyball team improved to 4-2 on the season by beating Dundee Wednesday in a non-conference matchup.

Whiteford won in four sets, 25-19, 28-30, 25-11 and 25-21.

Lindsay Walker had 17 kills, Kyleigh Borowicz had 12 kills and five service aces and Baylee Baldwin tallied 15 digs. Katelyn Kuebler had 43 assists.

The Bobcat varsity team, which also beat Blissfield Tuesday, is off until Sept. 11 when it travels to Whitmore Lake.

The Whiteford JV team lost to Dundee Wednesday, 25-21, 25-2. Emma VanHove had six digs and Zoe Bauman had three kills for the Bobcats (0-6). The JV Bobcats are at Clinton on Sept. 6.
