Whiteford is ranked No. 4 today in the first Associated Press weekly poll of the season.
The Bobcats (3-0), the defending Division 8 state champions, are ranked in Division 7 for this poll. The Associated Press projects schools for each division based on enrollment prior to the season.
The actual divisions for MHSAA playoffs aren’t announced until Selection Sunday, the same time the pairings are announced.
The Bobcats will host Whitmore Lake this week.
