Bobcat volleyball team sweeps Morenci

MORENCI — Whiteford’s varsity volleyball team swept Morenci Tuesday to improve to 6-3 on the season.

The Bobcats defeated Morenci 25-8, 25-15, 25-7 in the first match and 25-13, 25-15, 25-20 in the second match.

Lindsey Walker had 23 kills for the Bobcats while Kaitlyn Kuebler had 48 assists and Ellie Duvall 12 kills.

The Bobcats will play at Britton Deerfield Thursday.
