MORENCI – Whiteford’s JV football team built an early lead, then had to come back to beat the Morenci Bulldogs JV team Thursday.

The Bobcats won 36-28.

The Bobcats led early 20-8. Morenci had tied the game 28-28 with 3:30 left before the Bobcats went on a game-winning drive, scoring with 36 seconds left.

Cole Giesige scored four touchdowns and Levi Hillard one. Giesige intercepted a Morenci pass on its final drive of the game.
