Bobcats up to No. 2 in latest Associated Press football poll

Whiteford has climbed to No. 2 in the fourth weekly Associated Press football poll of the season.

The Bobcats are 6-0 and received one first-place vote and 42 points, the same as New Lothrop. Defending Division 7 state champion Pewamo-Westphalia, has been ranked No. 1 in every AP poll so far this season.

Whiteford takes on Sand Creek Friday at Sand Creek.

Clinton, who is Whiteford’s opponent in Week 8, is ranked No. 12 in Division 7.
