OTTAWA LAKE — Whiteford’s varsity volleyball team made it a season sweep of Whitmore Lake Thursday, beating the Trojans 25-18, 25-17, 25-19.
It was the second time in just over a week that the Bobcats have beaten the Trojans. The win also elevated the Bobcats into a second place tie in the TCC with Summerfield. Whiteford takes on Summerfield Tuesday.
In Thursday’s match against Whitmore Lake, Lindsey Walker had 16 kills, hitting .429 and had 13 digs. Koral Vanderhost had seven kills and nine digs, Katelyln Kuebler had 20 assists and Kyleigh Borowicz had nine kills while hitting a .450.
