OTTAWA LAKE — Whiteford’s Baylee Baldwin already holds the Whiteford record for career 3-pointers. Tuesday, she set the Bobcat single game 3-point record and reached a career milestone.
Baldwin made a record six triples, giving her an even 100 for her career, as the Bobcats beat Clinton 65-34.
Baldwin finished with a game-high 31 points. She now has 896 career points.
Coming into the game, Baldwin was tied for the single game Whiteford record for 3-pointers with five. Lindsey Bixler (11-11-03), Mariah DuPree (1-20-12), Emily Ritzenthaler (1-18-13), Ritzenthaler (2-25-13), Janie Bunge (12-8-14), Bunge (2-24-15) and Baldwin (1-13-17) all made five 3-pointers in a single game previously.
Katyln Taylor scored nine for the Bobcats, which outscored Clinton 21-3 in the second quarter.
