ADDISON – Whiteford athletes brought home a couple of medals from Friday’s Addison Relays.

For the girls, the throw relay team placed fifth, earning a medal. That group included Macy Long, Kaylee Bieber, Nicki Moore and Paige Thomas.

The 4×100 Bobcat boys relay team finished fourth in 47.15 and placed fifth in the 4×200 relay. Zach Bertz, Brayden Clark-Gilmore, Logan Murphy and D’Ondre Shaw were on the 4×100 relay team with Bertz, Clark-Gilmore, Murphy and Jack Emmenecker on the 4×200 relay.

The Bobcat throwers relay team of D’Ondre Shaw, Nicholas Donnelly, Luke Andrews and Jack Andrews finished sixth.

Twelve schools competed in the event, including several teams ranked atop of the most recent MITCA state rankings. Addison’s boys and Pittsford’s girls were the team champions.
