MADISON TOWNSHIP – The Whiteford Bobcats evened its record at .500 for the season with a double header sweep at Madison.
Whiteford won 5-0 in the first game and 10-0 in the nightcap.
Nathan Bauman got the win in the first game, allowing just one hit and no runs over six innings, striking out seven and walking just one. Levi Hillard got the final three outs.
Bauman led Whiteford hitters with two hits in four at-bats.
In Game 2, Ty Eitniear got the shutout, giving up two hits and striking out seven.
Whiteford score four runs in the first inning, two in the fifth and four more in the sixth.
The Bobcats had nine hits with Bauman and Hillard both having multiple-hit games. Bauman scored three times and had and RBI while Austin Wynn had two RBIs on one hit. Cole Giesige had a hit, walked once, scored a run and had an RBI.
