Whiteford and Ida split non-league softball DH

IDA — Whiteford will take a 28-4 record into Saturday’s Division 4 District after splitting with Ida Tuesday, taking the first game 2-0 and falling 5-4 in the second.

Lindsey Walker struck out 10 in the opening game while Berlynn Keller doubled and Katie Lipp and Madison Durden added singles.

In the second game, Baylee Baldwin and Karsyn Berns-Moore had two hits each and Madison Durden added a single in the loss.
