STRYKER, Ohio — The Whiteford Bobcats piled up more than 400 yards of total offense on just 27 offensive plays and went on to defeat Stryker, 60-12.
The Bobcats evened their record at 1-1 on the season. They host Schoolcraft next week in the home opener for Whiteford.
In Friday’s game, Cole Giesige, Devon Shaw and Nick Marchant ran for two touchdowns each, Jacob Kahn scored a touchdown and Braedon Mills caught a touchdown pass from Shea Ruddy. Ruddy was 4-for-4 for 106 yards passing. Giesige (91 yards) and Shaw (90 yards) led Whiteford in rushing.
Eli Dyer and Giesige had interceptions and Nick Freeman had two tackles for loss to lead the Bobcat defense.
Whiteford led 30-0 after the first quarter and 54-12 at halftime.
