OTTAWA LAKE – Whiteford moved closer to the .500 mark for the season, beating Morenci 59-31 Tuesday.

The Bobcats made a season-high seven 3-pointers, including four by Emma Olrich, two by Kinzie Kohler and one by Natalia DiTerlizzi. Paige Thomas scored a career-high 18 points, Olrich 14 and Kohler 14.

Whiteford is 5-7 on the season. They travel to league-leading Sand Creek Friday.
