ERIE – Erie Mason advanced to the semifinal round of the Division 3 district that it is hosting with a 72-43 victory over Whiteford Monday.

The Eagles’ Joe Liedel buried six 3-pointers and scored 31 points for Erie Mason, who improved to 18-2.

Whiteford closed the season 2-19 as Noah Bauman scored a career-high 15 points and Luke Masserant chipped in with 10.

Erie Mason will take on Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central Wednesday.
