Today would have been the final day of class for the 2020 seniors at Whiteford. Six of those athletes were returning letter winners and a seventh was a first-year track & field athlete. WhitefordBobcatSports.com is honoring those spring sports seniors who missed the 2020 season due to Covid-19:
KENNEDY MURRAY
Kennedy had four days of practice to start off the 2020 season. It was going to be her first year on the track team.
“Kennedy just came out this season and was going to be a thrower for the track team. We were looking forward to having her on the squad,” said Whiteford head track & field coach Mike Hughes.
Hughes said the Bobcats were looking forward to the upcoming track season when it was canceled.
“This group was fun to coach and I am sad that they didn’t get a chance to compete this season,” Hughes said.
