Despite the graduation of four starters, Whiteford’s boys basketball team remained on the top rung of the TCC ladder in 1988-89, winning the league title once again.

Senior Chris DuPree capped off a great three-sports career, Barry Jones was first team All-State in basketball and the Bobcat girls continued its reign with athletes like Peg Schmidt, Dee Koppelman and Dawn Murphy leading the way.
