Bobcat varsity wins first volleyball match of season

OREGON, Ohio – Whiteford’s varsity volleyball team improved to 1-2 on the season Monday beat beating Oregon (Ohio) Cardinal Stritch, 25-19, 25-15, 25-20.

The Bobcats were led by Kyleigh Borowciz, who had 15 kills; Berlynn Keller with 7 kills; Alaina Andrews with 19 assists and 6 digs, and Aly VanBrandt with 8 digs and 5 aces.

Whiteford will host Morenci Tuesday,Sept. 22.

Cardinal Stritch defeated the Whiteford Junior Varsity volleyball team in two sets Monday, 25-22, 25-15. The JV Bobcats are 1-2 on the season.
