OTTAWA LAKE — Whiteford closed the book on its home volleyball season Tuesday, beating Britton Deerfield in both JV and Varsity matches.

Whiteford’s varsity beat BD in five sets, 25-21, 18-25,11-25, 25-13, 15-8.

Kyleigh Borowicz led the team with 21 kills and 14 digs while Alaina Andrews had 39 assists and 8 digs. Allison Spradling chipped in with 16 digs

“We got great play by both seniors in their last home match in Whiteford’s gym,” Bobcat coach Buffy Ruddy said.

The Whiteford JV Volleyball team finished their season 9-6 after an exciting win against Britton Deerfield, 26-28, 25-19, 15-9.
