Bobcat girls pick up track win at Summerfield

PETERSBURG – Whiteford’s girls track team picked up a Tri-County Conference dual meet win Friday, beating Summerfield 70-63.

The Bobcat boys fell to the Bulldogs 86-50.

Paige Thomas won the 100, 200, 400 and helped the Bobcat 4×400 relay team take first. Annie Gapp won the 300 hurdles (51.2), the Whiteford 4×100 Relay team won and Kenzie Gray took first in the shot put for the Bobcats (30-04). Rylie DeSilvis was first in the long jump (13-00.5).

In the boys meet, Ty Ruddy took first in the 100 (11.5) and 300 Hurdles (49.6), Dylan Anderson was first in the 400 (56.8), Keegan Masters was first in the 3200 (11:20.5) and Noah Bauman won the shot put (39-09.06).
