OTTAWA LAKE – Whiteford is the only Tri-County Conference baseball team still alive in the state playoffs.
The Bobcats finished second in the final TCC standings, won a district and now have been rewarded with five players making the first team all-league list.
Pitchers Eric Parriett and Cole Giesige, catcher Luke Rasor, infielder Logan Tammerine and outfield Levi Hillard made the first team. Shea Ruddy was an honorable mention choice and Nick Oberle was the Bobcat representative on the All-Sportsmanship team.
Ruddy, Giesige, Hillard, Oberle, Rasor, Isaiah Joerin and Luke Masserant earned All-Academic honors.
The Bobcats host Plymouth Christian today in the Division 4 Regional semifinal.
