Bobcats climb to No. 3 in Associated Press rankings

Whiteford’s victory over seventh-ranked Sand Creek has pushed them up a couple of spots in the latest Associated Press Division 8 football poll.

The 4-1 Bobcats are No. 3 this week, behind Hudson (5-0) and Addison (5-0).

Sand Creek remains No. 10 while Summerfield is No. 14. Erie Mason, the lone other undefeated team in the Tri-County Conference, received one vote in Division 6. Ida, who Whiteford beat in a non-league game in Week 2, is No. 13 in Division 6.
