OTTAWA LAKE – For the second consecutive season, Whiteford will play Summerfield in the Division 8 district playoffs.

The MHSAA announced the playoff pairings Sunday.

The Bobcats are the No. 1 seed in the four-team District. Sand Creek (6-3) and Whitmore Lake (6-3) are on the other side of the bracket. Whiteford beat Summerfield 46-0 in Week 8 of the regular season.

Last year, Summerfield beat the Bobcats in the district championship game.

Whiteford enters the playoffs with an 8-1 record and the second-highest playoff point total in all of Division 8.
