SYLVANIA, Ohio – Whiteford’s boys basketball team bounced back from an overtime loss Monday afternoon to beat Toledo Waite, 54-48, Tuesday and capture third-place in the Warrior Classic.
The game was played Tuesday afternoon at Lourdes University.
Whiteford got 14 points from Luke Rasor, 12 from Cole Giesige and 8 from Evan Parker in the win. Whiteford led by two points at halftime and took the same lead into the final eight minutes. Parker scored six points in the fourth quarter to give the Bobcats (2-1) a boost.
