Bobcats pull away late to win non-league game at Addison

ADDISON – Whiteford finished off a close game despite a big comeback by the Panthers.

The Bobcats led 35-21 at halftime and were up 41-25 with about six minutes left in the third quarter when Addison launched its comeback. The Panthers cut it to 60-54 with 2:01 left, but free throws by Cole Giesige and Shea Ruddy put Whiteford up by nine with 1:11 left and the win was secured.

Josh Hill hit three 3-pointers and led Whiteford with 13 points. Luke Rasor added 12.

The Bobcats (9-5) host Britton Deerfield Wednesday.
