OTTAWA LAKE — The longest win streak in years is still alive for the Whiteford Bobcats.
Whiteford won for the sixth consecutive game Monday, beating Tri-County Conference opponent Britton Deerfield 45-33. The Bobcats are 8-11 on the season with one regular season game remaining.
Madelyn Thomas enjoyed a big scoring night for the Bobcats Monday as she poured in 14 points to lead Whiteford. Thomas connected on three 3-pointers in the game.
Kinzie Kohler and Anna VanBrandt scored 9 points each for Whiteford.
The game was part of a celebration of 50 years of Whiteford girls basketball in which several former Bobcat players came back and were introduced, including members of Whiteford’s first varsity basketball team.
