Three-time All-State lineman Noah Bauman has been selected to play in the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association East-West All-Star game this summer.
Bauman, who has signed to play college football at Grand Valley State University, will be the third Bobcat to appear in the all-star game.
John Iott played in the game in 1990 while Fred Kutzke played in the 1995 game. Lucas Tesznar was selected to play in the game in 2018 but the Eastern Michigan University recruit did not participate.
Bauman was a four-year starter for Whiteford and three times made the Associated Press First Team All-State list. This past season he became the first player in Bobcat history to win the Monroe News All-Region Defensive Player of the Year honor.
