Three-time All-State lineman Noah Bauman has been selected to play in the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association East-West All-Star game this summer.
Bauman, who has signed to play college football at Grand Valley State University, will be the fourth Bobcat to appear in the all-star game.
John Iott played in the game in 1990 while Fred Kutzke played in the 1995 game. Josh DuPree appeared in the 2008 all-star game. Lucas Tesznar was selected to play in the game in 2018 but the Eastern Michigan University recruit did not participate.
Bauman was a four-year starter for Whiteford and three times made the Associated Press First Team All-State list. This past season he became the first player in Bobcat history to win the Monroe News All-Region Defensive Player of the Year honor.
