OTTAWA LAKE — Whiteford’s impressive 5-1 showing in the Michigan Classic in Canton was enough to move the Bobcats up two spots in the weekly coaches association state softball rankings.

In the rankings that were released Wednesday the Bobcats were listed as No. 2 behind Unionville–Sebewaing. The Bobcats were No. 4 in the previous polls.
