OTTAWA LAKE — Whiteford has become the first school in the Tri-County Conference to go exclusively to a cashless system for purchasing tickets at home athletic contests.
The new system is already in place and operating as the winter sports schedule is underway.
Adult and Student Price is $5* for all middle and high school regular season events.
Tickets can be purchased through http://gofan.co/app/school/MI67237 or at the gate with credit/debit cards.
A QR code is also provided on site for purchase through your mobile device.
School officials cited the fact that fans are already used to the system that become prevalent during COVID-19 and the cost-savings when it comes not requiring personnel to handle money at events or after for counting purposes.
Supt. Scott Huard said he expects more schools to move in that direction as well.
