PETERSBURG – A 16-3 margin in the second quarter cost Whiteford Tuesday in a 52-31 loss to Summerfield.
“We turned the ball over so many times that we had too few shot attempts,” Whiteford coach Jim Ross said. “We had a really bad night, but we can learn from our bad nights and improve.”
Madelyn Thomas scored 7 points to lead the Bobcats (2-2).
Summerfield had four girls in double figures.
