Whiteford has climbed back into the TCC boys basketball race – thanks to some help from Madison.
The Bobcats are 9-2 in TCC play with one game left – and it happens to be against 10-1 Erie Mason, who has already clinched a share of the league title.
Madison handed Erie Mason its first league loss of the season Tuesday, 43-39. Whiteford, meanwhile, came from a third quarter deficit to beat Morenci 77-69, and kept its league title hopes alive.
Whiteford hosts Erie Mason Friday.
