Bobcats lose non-league game to Lenawee Christian

OTTAWA LAKE — Whiteford fell behind 14-3 after the first quarter and couldn’t recover Tuesday in a non-league game against future Tri-County Conference member Lenawee Christian.

The Bobcats conclude the regular season Thursday at home against Clinton.

Whiteford is 8-11.

WHITEFORD 3 9 7 7 – 26 

LCS 14 8 12 6 – 40 

Lenawee Christian: Clymer 3 0-2 6, Sluss 6(2) 0-0 14, Kirkendall 5(2) 1-4 13, Brooks 3 1-1 7. Totals 17(4) 2-7 40. 

Whiteford: Thomas 2 4-6 8, Hill 3(1) 0-0 7, Schober 1 0-0 2, Rasor 0 0-2 0, Mills 0 1-4 1, Gapp 3 2-4 8. Totals 9(1) 7-16 26.
