HUDSON – Whiteford banged out 11 hits and scored five runs in the first two innings and beat Hudson, 7-0, Monday.
Logan Tammerine had three hits and two RBIs at the plate and got the win on the mound, allowing just one hit in 2.1 innings of work. Brendon Masters pitched the final 4.2 innings.
Masters, the leadoff batter, had two hits, as did Luke Rasor.
Whiteford is 14-6 on the season. The Bobcats have won five straight and will look to keep it going Wednesday against Summerfield.
Hudson is 17-8.
