OTTAWA LAKE – Four Whiteford pitchers combined for 20 strikeouts and didn’t give up a hit in nine innings Wednesday as the Bobcats swept Morenci 15-0, 15-0.

Unity Nelson and Megan Butz threw two innings each in the opener. Karlei Conard pitched three innings and struck out eight while Ava Stevens pitched the final two innings and struck out five for the Bobcats in game two.

Jillian Webb and Avy Wood each had four hits in the doubleheader.

The 6-2 Bobcats will play a doubleheader at Milan Friday.
