OTTAWA LAKE – Whiteford swept Morenci 10-0, 10-0 Monday in a Tri-County Conference doubleheader.

Peyton Welch struck out 15 in the first game, giving up just one hit. Macy Ovall struck out 12 and didn’t allow a hit in the second.

Alexis Williams had two hits and two RBIs in the first game. Avy Wood had two hits in the nightcap while Kinsley Anderson had four RBIs.

The Bobcats are 7-2. They are at Erie Mason Wednesday.
