
OTTAWA LAKE – The bats were booming Saturday at Whiteford’s Conner Hoogendorn Memorial Baseball Tournament.
Monroe SMCC slugged its way past Whiteford 19-16 in the first game. The two teams combined for 26 hits.
Jake Scott went 4-for-4 with four RBIs fort he Bobcats. Brody Masters, Caden Schroyer and Luke Henegar each had two hits. Masters scored twice and drove in three runs.
Columbia Central led Whiteford 4-1 in the second game of the round-robin tournament when the rains hit in the fifth inning.
