Bobcats Remain Tied at the Top of the TCC with Sweep of Sand Creek

OTTAWA LAKE – The Bobcats stayed tied atop the Tri-County Conference standings with the sweep of the Aggies.

Whiteford is 18-5.

Whiteford won Game 1 16-3 and came back in Game 2 to win 14-2.

Game 1 winning pitcher Luke Henegar drove in four runs with a double and a home run. Tre Eitniear homered and walked three times, scoring four runs. Brody Masters, Zayne Emch and Sam Miller had two hits each.

In Game 2, Gabe Speweik didn’t allow a hit in his four innings of work, striking out seven Aggies and walking just one. At the plate, he helped his cause with an RBI double and added a single. Eitniear pitched a perfect fifth inning.

Henegar collected two more hits, including a home run, and had three RBIs.
