PETERSBURG – Whiteford finished second in its first-ever girls golf jamboree Tuesday (Sept. 8).

The Bobcats scored a 254 for the match, behind Summerfield (192) and ahead of Sand Creek (267) and Lenawee Christian, who did not have enough golfers to have an official final score.

Charlie Weiser finished fifth overall with a 55, the highest-finishing Bobcat.

Addy Emch shot a 66, Brenna Allen and Grace Grosteffon each shot a 67 and Avree Ingram shot a 76.

The match was played at Deme Acres in Petersburg. It was the first girls golf match in Whiteford history.
