ERIE – Whiteford piled up nearly 400 yards of offense on just 15 plays in beating Erie Mason 72-0 and remaining alone on top of the Great Lakes Conference standings.
Brek Ruddy had five carries for 225 yards and scored five touchdowns. He also caught a touchdown pass from Tre Eitniear, who went 1-for-1 in the air for 48 yards.
Eliah Vance scored twice and George Thompson added a touchdown for the Bobcats.
Andy Trejo had nine tackles for the Bobcat defense and Hunter Massingill had an interception.
The game was played with a super running clock from the first quarter until the end of the game.
Whiteford (5-2, 5-0 GLC) has won five straight. They host Summerfield next week on Senior Night and Military Appreciation Night.
